Dr. Mahesh M.N. is a passionate and dedicated orthopedic surgeon with more than 18 years of clinical experience. He comes from an educated family background having strong values and morals and with a deep desire to do philanthropic work. This trait in him, prompted him to start private practice with a motto to serve mankind.

His journey started in 2005, in Whitefield, Marathahalli and K.R Puram areas as an Orthopaedic Surgeon and slowly he became a household name in the surrounding areas. He has so far successfully completed more than 18000 successful surgeries. 

After practicing as a freelancer for a while, Dr. Mahesh felt that the cost of the health care was going beyond the reach of common middle-class people and felt the need to do something to correct this anomaly. It was then the idea of starting his own Orthopaedic Hospital came to him and he started a 10 bedded hospital in TC Palya named Sathya Sai Lakeside Orthopaedic Hospital in 2009 with just 5 staff members.  

Slowly but steadily patients came to know about the cost effective but assured quality orthopaedic care given by him which made Dr. Mahesh a household name in and around K.R Puram.

People started coming to his Hospital in large numbers with some of them even waiting on the road to see him, which at times used to take 3-4 hours. Only a limited number of surgeries could be conducted due to lack of space and this was becoming a huge problem.  

That was when the idea of a large hospital occurred to him and the journey of a 100 bedded, State-Of-The-Art, “Sathya Sai Orthopaedic and Multi-Specialty Hospital” materialized. Construction started in February 2013 and on February 1st, 2015, the Hospital was inaugurated by the then Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shri Siddaramaiah.

The Hospital continues to give cost-effective but quality care even to this day. Here, multi-specialty departments started along with its flagship Orthopaedic Department. Staff size increased from 5 to 130, a single Doctor became 25. The Hospital slowly changed into a full-fledged 24-hour Emergency Center.

Being strategically located on the busy National Highway, the Hospital had saved hundreds of lives in the last few years. In this new hospital, super specialty departments were started in the fields of Neurosurgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Oral, Maxillary and Facial surgery, Dental and ENT apart from the routine specialties like General Medicine and General Surgery. At the time of going to print, the hospital had successfully conducted over 20000 successful Surgeries. 

Dr. Mahesh has a strong commitment towards social service and service towards mankind. With this objective in mind, he has been going to “Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Science” at Whitefield as an Honorary Orthopedic Surgeon since 2005 every week and does free surgeries and sees many patients there. He also conducts regular Medical Camps and helps a lot of poor patients there.
